Creamy Texture
Hypoallergenic
The Cirepil Boudoir 800 g hard wax is a pearly-pink, hypoallergenic formula crafted for gentle, smooth waxing. With a creamy texture and a soft, gourmand fragrance, it offers a comforting, skin-friendly experience — ideal for sensitive clients and first-time wax users. Engineered by Perron Rigot, Boudoir combines low-temperature performance with effective hair removal across all zones.
Product Overview
Cirepil Boudoir is a creamy, non-strip hard wax formulated for sensitive skin and delicate waxing. Its pearly pink colour, smooth consistency, and gentle fragrance make it ideal for salons prioritizing comfort, especially for first-time or reactive clients.
Key Benefits
- Creamy, soft texture for gentle application
- Rosin-free and hypoallergenic → minimises risk of irritation
- Pearly pink colour and sweet, soft fragrance
- Low-temperature formula to increase client comfort
- Suitable for beginners and sensitive skin
Recommended Treatment Areas
Especially suited for sensitive clients and delicate zones — face, underarms, bikini, legs, and any area where a gentle touch is needed. Highly recommended for first waxing sessions.
Texture & Handling
Boudoir wax beads melt into a rich, creamy paste that spreads smoothly and retains elasticity. This consistency ensures good grip while delivering a soft, “cushioned” pull, reducing discomfort on sensitive areas.
Professional Usage Instructions
- Melt the beads in a professional wax heater until they reach a creamy fluid texture (around 66–70°C recommended).
- Test the temperature on your wrist before application.
- Prepare the skin with a pre-wax cleanser or light oil.
- Apply a moderate, even layer in the direction of hair growth using a wooden spatula.
- Let the wax cool until slightly tacky but flexible.
- Pull the wax off against the hair growth while stretching the skin.
- Soothe the skin post-treatment with a gentle lotion or oil suited for sensitive skin.
Expert Tips & Tricks
Because Boudoir has a very creamy texture and low pull strength, applying in slightly thicker layers allows full hair capture while maintaining comfort. For first-time waxing or particularly reactive skin, work in small zones and take your time to ensure a gentle finish.
Ingredients & Safety Information
Key ingredients include hydrogenated polydicyclopentadiene, paraffin, ethylene/octene copolymer, beeswax, and a delicate fragrance. Rosin-free and hypoallergenic, but always perform a patch test for sensitive clients. Avoid use on irritated or broken skin.
Packaging & Format
800 g beads — bulk format ideal for salons and high-use professionals, suitable for standard wax heaters.
Common Questions / FAQs
Is Cirepil Boudoir suitable for first-time waxing?
Yes — its creamy, low-temperature formula and gentle removal make it an excellent choice for clients who are new to waxing.
Is the fragrance safe for sensitive clients?
While it does have a soft, gourmand scent, the formula is hypoallergenic. Still, do a patch test for clients with fragrance sensitivities.
Can I use Boudoir on facial and intimate areas?
Absolutely. Its creamy texture and comfortable application make it well-suited for delicate zones including face, underarms, and bikini.
What temperature should the wax heater be set to?
Use a digital heater set between ~66°C and 70°C to maintain Boudoir’s optimal creamy consistency.
How does Boudoir compare to other Cirepil waxes?
Boudoir is creamier and more comforting than waxes like Blue or Cristalline, prioritising skin comfort over maximum grip — ideal for sensitive or first-time clients.

Pro Application Technique
- Apply in generous but controlled layers to benefit from its creamy, enveloping consistency.
- Work in small to mid-size zones to maintain warmth and control during application.
- Allow the wax to cool until it’s flexible and a little tacky — it should not be brittle.
- Stretch the skin gently but firmly at removal to minimise discomfort and maximise clean pulls.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Over-thinning the wax — Boudoir’s strength lies in its creamy body.
- Removing too early while the wax is still too soft — can reduce grip.
- Insufficient skin tension, especially on curved or delicate areas.
Optimising Results
- Prep the skin gently but thoroughly — use a pre-wax oil only if needed to create a protective layer.
- Ensure the room and skin temperature are moderate to preserve wax texture.
- Use light, complementary passes for cleanup, especially on delicate or reactive skin.
