The Cirepil Blue 800g hard wax is an iconic, high-performance formula trusted by professionals worldwide. Its supple, elastic consistency makes it especially effective on coarse or short-regrowth hair, delivering a clean, efficient waxing experience with reduced irritation. Designed for intimate areas, face, underarms, and more, Blue hard wax offers both precision and comfort for UK salons and mobile therapists.
Product Overview
Cirepil Blue is a stripless hard wax bead renowned for its excellent grip, elasticity, and low-temperature melting profile. Its formula is formulated to shrink-wrap around hair while minimizing skin adhesion, making it a favourite for professional therapists needing reliable performance on difficult or short regrowth.
Key Benefits
- High elasticity reduces breakage and improves grip on coarse or short hairs.
- Low-temperature melting ensures client comfort and safety.
- Excellent performance on face, bikini, underarms and small or tricky areas.
- Reduces redness and trauma thanks to minimal skin pull.
- Durable and consistent formula for large-volume professional use.
Recommended Treatment Areas
Perfect for intimate waxing (bikini, Brazilian), underarms, facial hair (lip, chin, cheeks), and any zone where short or resistant hairs are present. Especially appreciated by therapists for shaping and precision work.
Texture & Handling
Blue wax beads melt into a smooth, highly elastic paste that is easy to spread and shape. The elasticity helps conform to body contours and ensures strong hair grip without excessive adherence to skin.
Professional Usage Instructions
- Melt the beads in a salon-grade wax heater until the texture is even and fluid.
- Test temperature on your wrist before applying to client.
- Prepare skin using a pre-wax cleanser or oil.
- Apply the wax in the direction of hair growth using a spatula.
- Allow the wax to cool and form an elastic film.
- Remove by stretching the skin and peeling off against the direction of hair growth.
- Calm the skin with a post-wax lotion or serum to soothe and hydrate.
Expert Tips & Tricks
Because of Blue’s very elastic texture, it is particularly effective when used on coarse or very short hair: apply in small sections, stretch the skin well before removal, and work quickly. On facial areas, use lighter pressure and delicate motion to avoid trauma.
Pro tip: If the beads seem too stiff, add a small amount of pre-wax oil (very little) to improve glide without compromising grip.
Ingredients & Safety Information
The formula includes elastomeric wax polymers, microcrystalline wax, synthetic waxes and pigment. Use professional application only. Conduct a patch test on sensitive skin. Avoid use on irritated, sunburned or broken skin.
Packaging & Format
800 g beads — suited for use in standard wax pots and heaters. Bulk packaging supports high-volume salon use.
Common Questions / FAQs
Is Cirepil Blue safe for sensitive skin?
Yes — when used correctly. Despite its high performance, Blue’s elasticity and proper removal minimise trauma, making it suitable for many clients with reactive skin.
Can I use Blue on facial hair?
Absolutely. Its elasticity makes it particularly effective on facial hairs such as lip, chin and cheeks, even on short, resilient regrowth.
Do I need a special wax heater for Blue?
Use a professional wax heater equipped with a precise thermostat to safely maintain the low, optimal melting temperature Blue requires.
How does Blue compare to other hard wax formulas like Cristalline or Eurose?
Compared to translucent hard waxes (like Cristalline), Blue offers greater elasticity and grip. Compared to soft or creamy waxes (like Eurose), Blue handles more resistant or coarse hairs very effectively.

Perron Rigot Academy — Professional Techniques
As a high-performance elastic wax, Cirepil Blue delivers its best results when applied using expert techniques. At Perron Rigot Academy, professionals learn to optimise the wax’s grip, elasticity, and low-temperature formula for efficient and comfortable treatments.
Pro Application Technique
- Work in small to medium sections for maximum control and precision.
- Apply with firm, even pressure to ensure full hair encapsulation.
- Allow the wax to set until matte and flexible—removing too early reduces grip.
- Always stretch the skin during removal to minimise breakage and discomfort.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Applying overly thick layers, delaying setting time.
- Removing while still glossy—wax must be matte before pulling.
- Insufficient skin tension, especially on curved or sensitive areas.
Optimising Results
- Use pre-wax oil sparingly to enhance glide without reducing adhesion.
- Warm the skin gently on colder clients to maintain perfect texture.
- Perform clean-up passes lightly for polished, smooth results.
